Anyone can knit! Learn with us in a relaxed, small-group atmosphere with plenty of time for practice, discussion, and instructor help. Our class project is a scarf that teaches you how to start, do the basic stitches, and end your project. Techniques covered: casting on, knit stitch, purl stitch, and binding off Materials needed: size US 8 (5.0 mm) knitting needles – straight or circular; two 100-g balls of worsted weight yarn totaling 400 yards+ (or one ball for a short practice-sized scarf) Short on materials?
