Service Description

Have you ever side eyed a fellow knitter as they work on a sock, wondering how on earth they do that? What about that lure of the small, portable and so, so simple travel project, an emotional support knitting project as it were? Well, here is your chance to become another knitter enthralled with the practice of knitting socks. Prerequisite Skills: knit stitch, purl stitch, knitting in the round Techniques covered: Turkish cast on, Magic Loop, afterthought heel, increases, decreases, Kitchener Stitch Materials Needed: US 1 (2.25 mm) to US 2 (2.75 mm) knitting needles, either one 24-32” fixed circular needle or a set of double point needles, one 100g skein of #1 Super Fine yarn (wool and nylon blend) Optional Materials: stitch markers, waste yarn, scissors, tapestry needle Need materials for this project? We meet on Tuesday Mornings 10:30-12:30 and

Thursdays at 4:00-6:00.  Sundays at 2-4:00
